Long Sutton Cricket Club Pavilion

Long Sutton Village Hall & Recreation Ground Trust are working with our friends at Long Sutton Cricket Club, we are raising money for the extension and refurbishment of our ageing sports pavilion

Long Sutton Village Hall & Recreation Ground are raising money to replace the playground at the hall. The playground is tired, worn and in desperate need of replacing. We would like to provide the children in the village and surrounding areas with somewhere safe and exciting to play outside

Story

Long Sutton Village Hall & Recreation Ground Trust and Long Sutton Cricket Club are raising money to refurbish and extend the ageing sports pavilion to bring it up to the standards expected for multi-sport participation that includes women and children as well and senior men’s sport.

The pavilion was built in 1977 and while structurally sound, the changing & shower rooms, toilets and catering facilities do not meet regulatory standards and the social & meeting space is not conducive to wider community participation.

The cricket club has over 160 members including 105 juniors, 25 women and 30 adult men, and with the newly refurbished play are and tennis courts, we would like to see the pavilion used by a wider client base.

This public appeal aims to raise the final £10,000 required for the project to commence in spring to be completed by 1st May 2025.
