Visit the charity's profileCrossing the Alps in 2017 was clearly not enough pain. Now six crazy bikers take on circumnavigating Monte Perdido/Mont Perdu/ Lost Mountain in the Pyrenees and we need your support!
In September 2017, six crazy cyclists rode the Raid Alpin for the charity Classrooms in the Clouds. We raised £14,000 thanks to the generous support of friends spread far and wide. This amount was then matched by several organisations resulting in £70,000 raised in total.
Thanks to your help, matching funds and to Classrooms in the Clouds fantastic efficiency, Bung Early Years Centre in rural Nepal was completed and opened in March 2019.
In September 2019, six of us will undertake our next challenge: over 15,000m of climbing in six days in the central Pyrenees. The route will take us from France into Spain and back again. At the centre of the route will be Monte Perdido/Mont Perdu, translated as the Lost Mountain, the biggest limestone massif in Europe.
We will again be biking for Classrooms in the Clouds with a goal of raising £15,000 before potential match funding. Please give what you can!
