Story
Louise was tiny with bright red hair, and my goodness did she leave a lasting impression on all those that met her. She had the presence of someone physically twice her size and the respect to go with it.
Louise was part of the Rebel Ladies biker group when the charity Mental Health Motorbike brought her out of retirement to help organise all things admin, and as you’d expect she threw herself into the role.
Her incredible skills and love for life, pole dancing, bikes and people meant she had a wide range of friends, her loss has been very difficult for so many because of this.
When you met Louise she made it very clear within the first 10 seconds that she did not take any nonsense but underneath this, was a heart of 24 carat solid gold. Truly one of life’s diamonds, one of life's great alternative human beings and one of life's biker angels.
Louise accepted her diagnosis, as she did every hurdle in life, with strength, stoicism, dignity…… and of course a plan!! She wanted to be absolutely sure that her passing would help save the lives of others.
Following Louise’s exact instructions, Mental Health Motorbike have set up a fund in her name. She wanted every penny raised to help equip our developing network of Regional Coordinators, allowing them to reach and support more riders than ever before. Louise will be enabling them to save lives and make life better for many thousands of riders across the UK, which we think is a very fitting legacy.
