Story
St Helena Hospice is in financial crisis. This year St Helena is facing a deficit of over £1million. £54,800 is the amount urgently needed to fund the additional day this leap year.
Our income is currently not enough to meet the huge demand for our vital care.
Over the four day Easter weekend, from Friday 29th March to Monday 1st April, it was Daisy's wish that you come together to raise a total of £54,800 through her Love, Daisy appeal - the amount it would cost to run St Helena for a day.
Please donate and share the Love, Daisy Appeal as widely as you can with your family, friends, colleagues and wider network this Easter weekend.
Daisy's Legacy
Over the last few weeks you have been hearing from 28 year old Daisy, as she shared her story and experience of St Helena Hospice care. It is with a very heavy heart we announce that sadly Daisy died in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family on Thursday 21st March.
Our thoughts are with Daisy's family and friends as they navigate this extremely sad and difficult time with the continued support of St Helena.
Daisy had such a passion for life, a deep love for her family and was determined that her legacy continues. It was Daisy’s wish that her words continue to be used to help raise as much money as possible for St Helena Hospice and her family have given permission for the Love, Daisy Appeal to continue in her memory.

You feel like you are part of the family and it's really comforting because I feel like my mum, my stepdad and my brother will be left in a family unit and have all the support they need when it happens. It’s nice to know that there’s bereavement counselling for when I’m not around, and that people will be taking care of my family even after I can’t." - Daisy
St Helena are here for the people you love. Will you be here for them this weekend?
