The Late Shows is the free late-night culture crawl that usually takes over NewcastleGateshead in May each year.
Museums, galleries, studio collectives and heritage sites usually throw their doors open after hours just so you can experience hands-on workshops, behind the scenes tours, performances and parties. This year, things are different.
In late March we took the difficult, but necessary, decision to cancel the 2020 Late Shows, due to take place on the 15th and 16th May.
Each year Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums helps around 1.2 million people experience arts culture and heritage. Whilst we are closed our staff are continuing to work behind the scenes to bring you exciting online and digital content to keep you and your family engaged with arts and heritage during this time.
