Since its launch in 1988, Red Nose Day has become a British institution. It’s a time when people across the country get together and fundraise at home, school and work to support people living incredibly tough lives, and has raised over £1.3 billion to date.

Story

On the 19th March Lucton School is taking on a huge challenge for Red Nose Day. We are bringing the FUN with singing and drama and the POWER with a huge 10'000km challenge but we need your help to raise as much as possible!

The morning starts with a musical performance by Year 4 and their version of Big Yellow Taxi. This will be followed by Funny is Power and other dramatic and musical performances from the pupils and who knows, the teachers of the School. A full morning of entertainment is planned with pupils across the school.

At lunchtime, our Chartwells kitchen team are joining in and children will be asked to design their placemat to take to the dinner hall.

In the afternoon, we get sporty! Prep School and other pupils will be doing fun- based and challenge swims and a range of sporty challenges. Group and individual challenge sponsoring activities, all with a Red Nose and funny spin! Run, swim and donate! Lets make that 10,000km together.
