The aim of Liverpool Women's Charity is to raise funds to improve the care and support given to the patients and their families. Money raised helps to provide services and facilities above what is normally provided through NHS funding.

Story

On Saturday 27th September, Liverpool Women’s Hospital supporters will be climbing the highest mountain in Wales — Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) — all to raise vital funds for Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity.

Liverpool Women’s is a specialist hospital, it provides world-class care for thousands of women, babies, and families — from maternity and fertility support to cancer treatment, neonatal intensive care, and complex gynaecology services. Every step up that mountain is for a baby fighting for their first breath, a mother recovering from trauma, or a family navigating heartbreaking loss — Join us on our journey!

Participants taking part will need to set up a Just Giving page (click start fundraising) and try to raise a minimum of £150, and every pound will help Liverpool Women’s Charity go further — funding comfort items for patients, improving spaces across the hospital, supporting bereaved families, and investing in services that go beyond NHS funding.
