Ramadaan month is a great time for donating money to help the needy and the deserving.

Maahir organisation (Registered with Charity Commission, UK) is delighted to partner with a wonderful organisation that is doing great work in the most deprived areas of India. Zakat Foundation India, led by Dr Zafar Mahmood has worked in a lot of useful areas- examples are setting up of orphanages in Hyderabad, Delhi and UP, day care centre in UP and helping riot victims of Delhi riots and Muzzafarnagar riots and flood relief work in Bihar.One very important work is in education – with focus on UPSC coaching and for staff selection commission exams.
