Last year (2020) will go down as one of the most tumultuous years in a generation. When faced with such difficulty it was heartening to see the Muslim community get together and make a difference in society and ensure that everyone was looked after. In times of hardship we come together and unite, now that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we are retuning to normality lets remain united.

WE HAVE TO REMAIN UNITED, let us explain why!

There are major problems within the Muslim community, we are losing our youth to the streets, our sisters are being neglected and sometimes abused, our community is facing poverty, our elders abandoned, and people are turning away from Allah. Alhamdullilah over the past decade Green Lane Masjid has worked tirelessly to serve our community ensuring that EVERYONE is looked after. If you have the ability to make a change then you MUST seize the opportunity today, we MUST remain united and come together to solve our OWN problems.

2021 is going to be a very busy year for Green Lane Masjid we will be working with hundreds of youth providing urgent interventions and life changing support. We will be running much needed programmes for our sisters and elderly including a domestic violence service.

We will InshaAllah educate hundreds of thousands by the end of the year through our outreach programmes. Our site is too small for our needs and the sisters especially have suffered, we are in the process of purchasing a £440,000 building adjacent to the existing site for an expansion.
