Story

Be part of something amazing this Christmas help to create a Magical Christmas for those most in need in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland!

We want to invite as many people as possible to attend our Magical Christmas event at Curve Theatre, Leicester, on 15th December and are inviting local businesses and organisations to sponsor guest places, which are £45 each (Curve, also a registered charity, is providing all items associated with the event at cost price).

Not everyone has £45 to spare, but here on our campaign page you can give what you like and get involved; whether you can give £1 or £1,000, we would be so grateful for your donation and it will make a difference and help to brighten Christmas for local people going through really tough times.

We'd love to raise enough on this campaign page to enable us to invite 100 more vulnerable people to this amazing event.

Guests - many of whom will never have been to the theatre before - will get to enjoy the full Curve experience! They will enjoy a production of White Christmas or The Cat in the Hat and will also have a hot meal, interval drinks, an ice cream, and a show programme.

Every £45 raised means that another local person in hardship will get to experience Magical Christmas. Whilst this will be a fantastic day, we believe this event could have a lasting and uplifting effect particularly for the children and young people we want to invite.

Can you help to make this happen?!

Quite simply, the more money we raise the more seats for local people in need we secure!

If you take a child to the theater, not only will they practice empathy, they might also laugh uproariously, or come home singing about science, or want to know more about history, or tell you what happened at school today, or spend all dinner discussing music, or learn how to handle conflict, or start becoming a future patron of the arts.
