Maidenhead United FC - charity golf day in aid of CALM

Maidenhead United FC and our Community Trust have partnered with the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) for the last three seasons and are continuing to join CALM in their movement against suicide.

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

The Club’s key objective is to make a positive difference to all members of our community by helping us uphold our core mission of championing wellbeing for everyone in our community and keeping our fans, their families, and friends connected.

We achieve this both using the internal resources at our disposal and by working with outside, specialist partners.

As part of our outreach to partners, Maidenhead United FC and our Community Trust have partnered with CALM for the last three seasons and as our front-of-shirt sponsor.

This sponsorship has been made possible by the generosity and financial support of nine local businesses who all believe, as we do, that starting a conversation on this issue of suicide is so important.

As we come to the end of this season and as part of our activations, we are holding a charity Golf day to raise valuable funds for Campaign Against Living Miserably. There will be lots of fun challenges including a raffle and auction where all proceeds will be donated to CALM.

Your support is greatly appreciated – we can make a difference and together, we can end suicide.
