Help Us Build a New Splash Pad in Queen’s Park
The Queen’s Park Charity is working with the local community to raise funds to bring a brand-new splash pad to Queen’s Park—and we need your help to make it happen!
The current paddling pool has served generations of families, but it’s now outdated and in need of replacement. Our vision is to create a modern, safe, and inclusive splash pad that offers children of all ages a fun and accessible way to play outdoors during the warmer months.
Unlike traditional pools, splash pads use less water, require no lifeguards, and are easier to maintain. They’re designed with interactive jets, fountains, and sensory features that encourage imaginative play and social connection. Importantly, the new splash pad will be accessible to children with disabilities and will complement the much-loved playground already in the park.
Queen’s Park is a vital community space, and this project will enhance its role as a welcoming, family-friendly destination. But we can’t do it without you.
The splash pad will cost approximately £278,000. The target we're aiming to hit through fundraising is £100,000. We already have £178,000 of funding secured from the City of London Corporation.
Your donation—no matter the size—will help fund the construction and ongoing maintenance of the splash pad and ensure it’s ready for families to enjoy by next summer. Every pound brings us closer to creating a vibrant, inclusive space that promotes outdoor play, wellbeing, and community connection.
Donate today and help us make a splash!
