Story

On 21st April 2024, our amazing team of #WishHero runners will be donning their capes and trainers to take on the 26.2 miles of the iconic London Marathon!

Right now, the number of wish enquiries from seriously ill children with less than a year to live is rising fast. We need help to meet this urgent demand now - before it’s too late.

Our vision is a world where every single one of those children, and their loved ones, can experience the life-changing magic of a wish.

For families with critically ill children, every day counts. By running the London Marathon, our #WishHeroes have the power to make hundreds of wishes come true for critically ill children, allowing families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds.

For her siblings, the wish means that they have these precious memories to look back on when Charlotte’s no longer around. These children go through so much. It's necessary that they get that break, that sense of happiness when their lives have been horrible. If we could meet anyone that has supported Make-A-Wish, I’m sure that Charlotte would give them a massive hug. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.’ - Charlotte's wish to go to Center Parcs
