What are you looking forward to this Christmas? Maybe it's a warm mug of hot chocolate, putting on your favourite film, meals with friends and family, or getting cosy and heading to a Christmas market! Whatever your Christmas looks like this year, why not Make it Crisis and help end homelessness?
This year, as restrictions ease, there are so many ways to Make it Crisis. With every pound you raise, you will be helping more people leave homelessness behind them, starting with a Crisis Christmas to remember. Em ended up sleeping rough after a background of broken relationships and an abusive childhood.
I came to Crisis over Christmas when I had been sleeping on buses. It was amazing to have a bed to sleep in and people who were helpful and kind.
Em was given a Crisis coach who gave her a huge amount of support, advice and trust. During lockdown, Em slept in a van that started to leak. Her coach altered the council who put her in emergency accommodation because of Covid.
My coach has shown me how to keep hope alive, keep faith alive. She saved my life.
