MAF is seeking donations to cover expenses as our current income is less than our coaching costs. Plus, we would love to fund our coaches expenses to go to swim meets. We are struggling to pay the cost of their travel/accommodation and their essential wages once there. It is very difficult for the children who work so hard in training during the week to be told that they are not able to compete because we cannot afford it.

MAF are also trying to fund for swimming fees for deserving families whose children would really benefit from swimming but are just unable to afford it. Our annual swimming fees are in excess of $2500. The City of Malibu covers 30% of the cost for low income families but we would love to be able to help with the remaining fee and potentially set up a scholarship fund for other worthy families.

Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated to help our community enjoy this wonderful recreational exercise at the only public pool in Malibu.
