Story
From the beginning, Hope and Vision Communities has been built on lived experience — a community created by people who understand the challenges of addiction, recovery, and rebuilding life after crisis.
In 2020 our founders Tony and Peter set out to create supportive recovery housing where people leaving rehabilitation could continue their journey in safety and community. Since then, our first community in Reading has shown just how powerful this model can be.
Now, we are taking the next step.
Hope and Vision Communities is launching a new Men’s Community in Malvern, Worcestershire, bringing our proven approach to an area where the need for supported recovery housing is growing.
Around 22% of people entering drug treatment in Worcestershire report urgent housing problems, showing the close link between addiction recovery and access to safe accommodation, according to the Drugs and Alcoholic Needs Assessment by Worcestershire County Council.
Our decision to develop a community in Malvern has been shaped by strong relationships with local recovery services and professionals who see first-hand the challenges people face when leaving treatment. Many men complete rehabilitation ready for a new start but find themselves with nowhere stable to live. Without supportive housing, the risk of relapse, homelessness, and isolation increases dramatically.
Hope and Vision Communities is determined to change that.
Our new community in Malvern will provide safe housing and a supportive environment where men can continue their recovery journey and begin rebuilding their lives with confidence.
Why This Community Is Needed
This home will provide far more than accommodation.
It will be:
A safe and substance-free environment that supports ongoing recovery.
A stable alternative to homelessness or unsafe living situations.
A community where men can rebuild their confidence and sense of purpose.
A place to develop life skills, structure, and independence.
For men leaving rehabilitation, this home can be the difference between relapse and long-term recovery.
A Community That Believes in Second Chances
Every donation helps us create a place where men can rebuild their lives with dignity and stability.
Your support will help provide:
Furnishings and essentials to make the house feel like a home
Safe accommodation that protects recovery
Support and community that encourage responsibility and growth
A stable foundation for independence and long-term change
A gift today is not just a donation — it is an investment in someone’s future.
