The Equilibrium Foundation exists to make people’s lives better, by supporting charitable causes, with a particular focus on the North West of England. We support a wide range of organisations, with a particular emphasis on education and disability charities, and on helping people experiencing all sorts of disadvantages to have better opportunities for learning and employment.

Story

We are looking to raise £5,000 split equally between St. Anns Hospice and Diabetes UK in the memory of Stephanie and Alan. Alan and Stephanies family and close friends are taking part in the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride on 10th July 2022.

We lost Stephanie to pancreatic cancer in October 2021 and was looked after in the hospice in her final weeks with the staff at St. Anns being amazing carers both for Stephanie and her family. Alan had type 1 diabetes since the age of 22 and passed away in December 2021. Without the research of Diabetes UK, Alans journey with diabetes would have been much more difficult and continues to aid people suffering with Diabetes.

The Equilibrium Foundation will be matching every penny raised.
