Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 16-25 year olds into a home and a job every year. Our award-winning helpline provides support to vulnerable young people across the country. We campaign to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Story

On 21st February 2025, join us for the return of our iconic Sleep Out event in Manchester—back for the first time since 2019! For one night, swap your warm bed for a sleeping bag at Depot Mayfield and help raise awareness and vital funds to support vulnerable young people without a safe place to call home.

Since 2020, Centrepoint has provided accommodation to 6,869 young people in Manchester, but there is still so much more to do. Our recent survey of 1,100 schoolchildren in the city revealed a heartbreaking reality: 22% are at risk of becoming homeless. At a time when they should be enjoying their first steps into a bright future, these children are grappling with the harsh reality of housing insecurity.

Swap the comfort of your bed for a sleeping bag and help us with our mission to end youth homelessness by 2037. Whether you're coming solo or with friends, be part of a community committed to creating lasting change.

Together, we can end youth homelessness.
