Why We’re Taking on the Skinflint Rally for MANUP?
This one’s personal.
“I’ve wanted to do something like this for years, but the anxiety always got in the way. Four days in a car, no space, no escape… it plays games with my head.”
— Dan, Founder of MANUP?
We’ve watched supporters push themselves to the limit to raise money for this charity. Some have broken themselves doing it. Now it’s our turn to step up.
This September, four of us are taking on the Skinflint Rally. One £500 car. More than 4,000 miles across Europe. No hotels, no campsites, no backup. We’ll be sleeping by the roadside and living out of a boot. It will be tough, messy and well out of our comfort zones.
“We’ve seen what this charity means to people. It’s time we give back and put ourselves through something too.”
— Craig, MANUP? Ambassador
“I’m used to physical challenges, but this is way out of my comfort zone. I’m not a car person, so the rally is an exciting opportunity to give back to MANUP?, a charity that means a lot to me and many others.”
— Jack, MANUP? Ambassador
“I’ve seen firsthand that men do want to talk. They just need space and a bit of trust to do it. That’s why I’m here.”
— Catherine
Every pound raised will go straight to MANUP? to fund another year of therapy sessions for men, more places on our camping weekends and retreats, and research that actually listens to men. https://www.manup.how/our-mission
If you believe in what we do, please back us. Even a small donation helps us keep men alive and talking.
