We believe everyone has the right to a home that meets their needs, and that the lack of this significantly impacts people’s lives. We bring together communities and find solutions to homelessness by building personal connections, a sense of belonging, and creating justice in the housing system.

Story

We believe that Everybody has a moral right to a safe, comfortable home that satifies their needs and allows them to flourish, succeed and thrive in life. We want to see a world where everybody does have access to such a home, so we're running 26.2 miles to help make that a reality.

By supporting this fundraiser you will be helping us to continue our life-changing projects. These include:

The Network - Over 160 faith and community groups are in the HJ Network. HJ supports and fosters their responses to homelessness and represents/advocates for the network.

Hosting Programme - Volunteer hosts open up their homes to individuals experiencing homelessness with no recourse to public funds - almost always Asylum seekers and refugees.

Faith in Affordable Housing - HJ broker deals between Churches and Housing Associations to free up surplus Church land for affordable homes.

Citadel - Our Citadel project sees church and community volunteers helping vulnerable people to maintain their tenancies and prevent a return to homelessness.
