Story
On the 3rd of October, Palace fans will come together to take on our tenth anniversary Marathon March — a special 26.2-mile walk through south London celebrating ten years of passion, community, and impact, while raising vital funds for Palace for Life.
But why do we do it?
Growing up in south London has never been tougher. However, we are in a unique position to drive positive change through the power of sport. Your donation helps us deliver life-changing support to young people across our communities, focusing on three key areas: keeping young people away from violence and crime, helping them access education and career opportunities, and supporting their mental and physical wellbeing.
Each year, we work with over 18,000 young people across Croydon, Bromley, Lambeth and Sutton. In 2024/25 alone:
Over 2,000 young people took part in more than 50 free sports sessions, with over 750 participating in our Disability Sport programmes
We engaged 8,000 pupils across more than 80 schools in south London
Over 250 young people attended our Careers in Sport Fair
313 young people benefited from 1:1 mentoring
Your support will help us reach even more young people, providing the opportunities, guidance and support they need to overcome adversity and build a brighter future. As we mark ten years of Marathon March, join us on this journey - together, we can make a lasting difference.
