The Marathon of Hope was conceived in 2020 as a fundraising event at a time when covid restrictions prevented us from hosting our annual Charity Christmas Fair. The Good Shepherd Runners ran a total of 26.2 miles around the parish in family groups or bubbles, and raised over £2000 for our chosen charities, which include Home-Start Sutton, Cry in the Dark, Diamond Riding, Sutton Schoolswork and Sutton Community Works.

Out Fair is now back - bigger and better than ever! - but the Marathon of Hope remains a fixture in the Good Shepherd calendar. We hope you will support us!
