The Marc Edwards Legacy Project (MELP), created in partnership with Burnley FC in the Community, honours the life and values of Marc Edwards – a true Claret and a passionate advocate for people, opportunity, and community.

Marc believed deeply in the power of investing in young people. Together with his family, Andor Management Limited, and Burnley FC in the Community, this project exists to carry that belief forward – creating meaningful opportunities for young people who need them most.

Across Burnley and beyond, many young people face barriers that limit their potential. Whether through disadvantage, circumstance, or simply not having the right support at the right time, too many are left without the guidance and opportunities they deserve.

MELP supports young people by:

- Building confidence, skills, and ambition through education and development

- Creating safe, inclusive spaces where they feel heard, valued, and supported

- Inspiring aspiration by helping young people set goals and believe in their future

At its heart, this project is about giving every young person the chance to thrive.
