I’m Marcelisa Celeste, a proud Carer Support Worker at Crossroads Care Surrey, and I’m taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for unpaid carers who dedicate their lives to looking after loved ones.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is no small feat - 24 miles of hiking, three peaks and a target of completing it all in under 12 hours! Every step I take will be for the amazing unpaid carers who inspire me every day through their resilience, love and dedication.

At Crossroads Care Surrey, we provide essential breaks, emotional support, and practical help to unpaid carers across the county, giving them the chance to recharge while ensuring their loved ones receive the care they need.

This challenge is personal to me. Every day, I see how a small act of support can make a big difference in a carer’s life. That’s why I’ve decided to lace up my boots and take on this journey - to raise vital funds to provide even more care and support to those who need it most.
