March Over Childhood Cancers – Step Up for Families 🥾💛

Every day, families face the devastating reality of childhood cancer. At The Joshua Tree, we provide vital emotional and practical support to ensure no family walks this journey alone.

Our bespoke programmes of support aim to improve the emotional wellbeing and mental health of all immediate and extended family members who are affected by childhood cancers across the North West of England and North Wales.

We recognise that every family's journey is unique, our charity focuses on responding to each family’s individual needs to help them transition into their ‘new normal.’

We offer a wide range of services designed to build resilience and promote long-term wellbeing, including:

* Counselling for all family members

* Art and play therapy

* Adult wellbeing therapy sessions

* Peer support groups

* Family fun events

* Educational guidance

Whether recently diagnosed, going through treatment, in recovery, or bereaved, we ensure that no family faces their journey alone.

How You Can Get Involved

👣 Walking Groups

If you're part of a walking group, why not dedicate one of your regular walks to The Joshua Tree? Get together, set a challenge, and raise funds to support families. Our fundraising and social media team will be on hand for any promotional material you'll need for your event!

🥾 Individual Hikers

Take on a solo challenge and link your JustGiving page to join our team of fundraisers hiking throughout March. We’ll support and promote your journey, helping you raise vital funds every step of the way!

🎒 Schools & The Golden Mile

Encourage pupils to get moving by taking on the Golden Mile! Whether it’s a daily mile challenge or a special event, it’s a great way to raise awareness and funds while keeping active.
