Story
The Mariella Rose Foundation Fund was established in memory of
Mariella Rose, who tragically died in a road traffic accident in March 2026
age17.
Known for her kindness, infectious enthusiasm and determination to help
others, Mariella was passionate about ensuring that young people with
dyslexia could access the support and opportunities they deserved.
A simple belief: with the right support, “impossible” can become “I’m
possible”.
What We Want to Achieve
Through fundraising and community support, we will:
💛 Remove financial barriers to diagnosis – Provide grants towards
professional dyslexia assessments for young people from low-income
families, where costs of £500–£600 can make diagnosis inaccessible.
💛 Build confidence and connections – Develop the Mariella Meet-Ups,
welcoming spaces where young people can share experiences, develop
friendships and celebrate their strengths.
💛 Provide mentoring and guidance – Help young people navigate
education, training and employment, develop confidence and achieve
their ambitions.
💛 Challenge stigma and improve understanding – Work with education
providers, employers and communities to raise awareness, remove
barriers and create more inclusive environments.
💛 Recognise and celebrate achievement – Through the Mariella Rose
Rising Star Award, celebrate young people who demonstrate kindness,
courage, determination and a positive impact on others.
How Your Donation Will Help
Every donation will help us create opportunities for young people,
whether contributing towards a life-changing dyslexia assessment,
helping a young person access mentoring or supporting activities that
build confidence and friendships, your generosity can make a real
difference.
Be More Mariella. 💛
Please donate and share our story to help create a lasting legacy of
opportunity, kindness and achievement.
