Story
No one should ever have to give up their beloved pet because they can’t afford pet food, veterinary care, or help with behavior issues. Yet members of our community find themselves financially stretched or face other setbacks while struggling to afford care for their companions.
The Marin Humane Pet Safety Net provides help with veterinary care, vaccinations, nutritious food, and other services to pets of Marin residents facing financial hardships. The program also hosts free community clinic 3-4 times a year, and we partner with social service organizations to hold pop-up clinics for unhoused pet guardians at various locations throughout Marin.
