Mark's Lockdown Challenge for SWALLOW Charity

Organised by SWALLOW

Mark is taking on the 1000 lap challenge to raise money for SWALLOW Charity during the Coronavirus lockdown.

SWALLOW Charity is user-led and supports over 170 teenagers and adults with learning disabilities in and around Bath & North East Somerset, providing a range of services and opportunities to empower people to live life to the full.

Story

Mark has been a member at SWALLOW for several years but is currently self isolating at home. Mark is affected by Myotonic Dystrophy which is a genetic disease which causes muscle wasting within the body.

He can no longer go out for his daily exercise or bike rides so has set himself a challenge. His challenge is to complete 1000 laps of his bungalow after being inspired by Colonel Tom Moore!

He will be undertaking the challenge over a number of weeks as he gets tired very quickly. Any support you can give would be most appreciated and would really spur him on to get to 1000.

Thank you for supporting SWALLOW
