Introducing the Flight Centre Schools Triathlon

The Flight Centre Schools Triathlon is an exciting challenge for children in school year's 3-8. Children enter in team of four to swim, cycle and run for Restless Development. The Schools Triathlon aims to get children into sport and teach them the importance of giving to charity.

The Flight Centre Schools Triathlon is organised by Restless Development - an international development charity.

Young people have the power to solve the challenges we face in our world, but they are being ignored and overlooked.

Restless Development works with young people so that they can be empowered to lead in solving those challenges. Whether that means supporting communities to end child marriage or prevent HIV, we work with young people to change their lives and the lives of people in their communities.

Driven by ten hubs across Asia, Africa, USA and the UK, Restless Development not only delivers projects, but offers expertise, support and innovation for young people and partners around the world, wherever they are based.

For example, Neema is part of the 'Mabinti Tuskike Hatamu (Mabinti) - 'Girls! Let's Be Leaders!' project in Tanzania. On this project, Neema works with Restless Development to develop the skills to train young women in her area about entrepreneurship, and how to improve their sexual and reproductive health.

The need for projects like these is particularly great in Tanzania where thousands of adolescent girls drop out of school because they get pregnant or married, unable to get the education and skills they need to earn a living.
