Story
This May half-term, nine year-old Martha will travel to Wales with her family to climb Yr Wyddfa (previously known as Snowdon).
Martha is aiming to summit using the challenging Pyg Track and to descend via the Miners' Track. The climb will take an estimated six hours (plus many stops for snacks), covering around 12km and ascending almost 800m!
This weekend Martha undertook some serious training with an 8 mile hike around the super hilly Box Hill.
Martha is climbing to raise funds for the brilliant MAPS project, so they can continue to support vulnerable young children from across Sutton.
