Story
Less than 1 in 10 people in the UK survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Having a public access defibrillator available in an emergency can be life saving.
By installing a community defibrillator on the outside wall of Christ Church and by training people how to use it and how to perform CPR we want to try and change those odds.
Tameside Rotary kick-started our fundraising with a £250 donation and Rotary member Martin is undertaking a 300 mile cycle ride in Wales on 18th June to boost the effort. Thank you Martin.
Your sponsorship of Martin would be much appreciated.
