Why the first 1,000 days decide a child’s future:
Before a child ever steps foot into a primary school classroom, the foundation for their entire life is already being built. In the township of Masiphumelele, Cape Town, South Africa thousands young children spend their days in informal, under-resourced crèches. Without proper intervention, many of these children miss out on the critical cognitive stimulation, safety, and nutrition required for healthy brain development.
At Masicorp UK, we believe every child deserves the best start in life. That is why our runners are taking on the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon—to raise vital funds for early learning for children in this struggling community. Help us ensure the youngest members of the community have a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive.
The Pillars of Our Programme: Nutrition, Care, and Education
Your support on this royal 13.1-mile journey directly funds a holistic approach to early childhood care. We don’t just provide a safe space; we build a nurturing ecosystem through three vital pillars:
Our Early Learning Centres: Providing high-quality preschool education, structured play, and a safe sanctuary for hundreds of children aged 1 to 6.
School Feeding & Nutrition: You cannot teach a hungry child. We provide daily, nutrient-rich meals and healthy snacks to ensure our learners have the physical energy and focus they need to grow and learn.
Preschool Teacher Training: We empower local women with professional training, educational resources, and mentorship to help them earn their early learning qualification.
