With a commitment to continuous improvement, lean working practices and innovation, their ultimate vision is to advance the health and well being of all children.

They look after all children who either come into the hospital in an emergency or those children and young people who have longer term health problems.

The children’s ward and service is something that I have an honour and a great gratitude towards as they have helped my sister in the past when she has had to go in for major operations for her spina bifida.

I am running the GNR to show my appreciation as well as giving back to those who have helped us in the past, whether it be big or small the help has made the difference for us.
