This campaign is all about improving your well-being, measuring how far we can go together during the month of May whilst raising money to Improve Infant Feeding in Powys.

1. Do something – Either a physical activity running, cycling, swimming, etc or another past- time like reading, knitting, or baking etc.

2. Measure it – Any activity and past-time can be measured.

3. Record it - Record your distance on your May’s Miles Tracker.

4. Fundraise – To help Improving Infant Feeding in Powys.

Improving Infant Feeding in Powys is what we are raising money to support for May’s Miles 2025. This amazing cause helps bond mother and child for all the right reasons - health, wellbeing and attachment. Increasing the number of babies who are breastfed could cut the incidence of common childhood illnesses such as ear, chest and gut infections. There are also maternal benefits to include such as reduced risk of ovarian and breast cancer and improved mental health.

Supporting this wonderful cause during the May’s Miles campaign will bring much needed funding to this service as it would allow the Womens & Childrens department of Powys Teaching Health Board to purchase those things over and above NHS provision that can make a real difference to help Improve Infant Feeding in Powys.
