Marie Curie East Belfast Fundraising Group was started in the Autumn of 2017 with initially 2 people and our numbers have steadily grown. To date we have 6 members and a good number of foot soldiers who we call upon for help with events, collections and support whenever we need it. We have organised quizzes, sponsored walks, reindeer food, a movie night, daffodil collections and raffles in order to raise funds as well as in store bag packs which also raised funds for support. We are becoming well known in the community and have accepted donations from local schools for sales of daffodils, and been involved with supporting and accepting donations from local football teams, family events and also sponsored headshaves. To date, Marie Curie East Belfast Fundraising Group have raised over £70,000 for Marie Curie. 

Since 2011, Marie Curie has set up Fundraising Groups across the UK to help raise money and awareness for the charity in their local area. They are a vital part of the Marie Curie family, raising a fantastic amount each year to help ensure we can keep supporting people living with a terminal illness and their loved ones.
