Mclarens on the Corner are proudly supporting the work of local children's charity When You Wish Upon a Star in their mission to grant Wishes for children aged 4-16 who live with life threatening illnesses. The charity works with children who have been newly diagnosed, who live daily with their illness, in remission and supports end of life Palliative care Wishes.

Wish steps in when their families need it the most, they are their front line support when they are facing unimaginable times, never knowing what the future may bring and for some families where sadly time is very much against them.

Their families journey with the charity is through the power of a Wish being granted! Offering a chance to put illnesses on hold, giving families something to look forward to, offering escapism from day to day routines, supporting mental health and physical wellbeing for all family members. Through incredible moments created strength is drawn, courage built and supports their resilience to carry on. A Wish allows families to come together and do what families do, have fun and to create magical memories.
