The Moray Fundraising Group was formed in late 2011 and has since gone on to raise over £450,000. As a group, our main aims are to raise funds and awareness for the charity in our local community. We are always thinking of new ideas and challenges and we desperately need your support to help us through these difficult times. Fundraising has become increasingly difficult since March 2020, and this is of course at a time when our Marie Curie services are in the greatest demand. We need your help so that we can continue to help patients and their families needing Marie Curie nursing care and support, now more than ever.

What I love most about being part of this Marie Curie Fundraising Group is knowing we are helping terminally ill people to be cared for in their own homes by the angels that are our Marie Curie Nurses. I know from personal experience, how difficult it is to care for a loved one in the last days and nights of their life, and the strength and reassurance that Marie Cure brings at this most stressful and emotional time cannot be under-estimated. The need to provide this care is ever more urgent . We in the fundraising group all feel very proud to support such an amazing charity and to have made such a difference through our fundraising is beyond rewarding.
