The McCarthy stone Foundation supports the health and wellbeing of older people, helping grassroots charitable causes working on intergenerational activity and community regeneration.

Our community grants programme has already helped over 75 organisations with funding, ranging from £250 to £6300, and as far afield as Cornwall and North Berwick.

Examples of projects we support include the intergenerational allotment project at Alive Activities in Bristol and funding the start up of a community shed in Minehead (see pics below).

Our work wouldn't be possible without the kindness of the McCarthy stone employees, partners, and wider family - thank you. With your support we can reach more grassroots causes working to improve the lives of older people in their community, by engaging young people and regenerating neglected spaces.

We have set ourselves the target of doubling our work in 2022. We know it is an ambitious goal, but with your help, we will achieve it.
