Recently our project director in Ghana was alerted to an abandoned baby who needed urgent medical care. He quickly found out the mother had severe mental health issues and after the baby arrived abandoned it and disappeared. The baby who we have named Alfie needed urgent medical care and for this reason was not taken in as people simply can not afford these medical fees.

Maxwell took the baby to hospital and we are pleased to say he is doing really well.
