Please help us fund urgent medical treatment for injured dogs in crisis!

Organised by Annie's Trust

Annie's Trust funds urgent medical treatment for sick and injured dog. Currently we need help to fund treatment for 3 pups with parvo, a boy was severely attacked, a young girl with cancer, three dogs with skin infections and one with a broken foot.

Everyday millions of dogs in Romania are suffering on the streets or living in captivity in poverty stricken public shelters. We help dogs in crisis by providing medical treatment, kennels, food, vaccinations and other life saving essentials. Our current campaign is focused in the poor town of Adjud

Story

Life for the 350 dogs in Adjud Public Shelter is harsh and cruel. Volunteers with Annies Trust try to make life better for the dogs with kennels, feeding, cleaning, repairing, vaccinating and much more. We also save any dog in need by funding their medical treatment. We are incredibly proud of what Annies Trust has achieved so far, especially as we have helped to rehome over 61 dogs this year.

However, this is not sustainable.

Annies Trust does not receive any government funding, nor do we receive adoption fees for any dogs rehomed. We rely solely on donations from our supporters.

The veterinary bills at present are huge, and we have not been able to raise even half of the money needed to cover the bills. We can only continue to keep helping dogs if we can raise the money for the current clinic bills. If we cannot raise the funds, we cannot continue to help.

Currently in clinic, we have:

Leo, a sweet one-year old pup who was dying from traumatic attack wounds is now recovering.

Bilbo, Nala and Rocco are being treated for a skin infection caused by the flea and tick infestation, and Rocco is being treated for a broken foot.

Maggie who was suffering from painful sticker tumours has responded brilliantly to treatment, but she needs TLC in recovery and we really do not want to put her back in the shelter.

Pedro, a young boy with bent front paws is receiving surgery to make it easier for him to walk with less pain. He is only two and he has a long life ahead of him we need to reduce his pain as much as possible!

Bonnie our poor amstaff who suffered years of abuse is now being treated for heartworm as well as recovering from her mammary tumour surgery.

Seven parvo pups who have been fighting off this virus. Four have tragically died, not strong enough for the treatment to work, but three are still fighting and we are praying they have the strength to pull through.

There is now a full-scale emergency at the Romanian Public shelter with kennel cough break out which has spread so quickly through the poorly ventilated shed . This shed houses many of the older dogs and they are at risk of pneumonia from this. Many need antibiotic vaccinations and bronchial dilating meds.

We cannot do this without help! We dont want to see any dogs die and we try to save as many as possible! But, if we cannot cover the vet bills for one dog, we cannot help another dog. Please can you please help us to raise the money so desperately needed?
