As you know, the Mendlesham Parish recently celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III enthusiastically, with a music evening and a children's fun day.

Now, we're inviting you and your family to be a part of the celebration by helping us to create a lasting legacy that commemorates this special event and brings our community together.

Firstly, we need to decide on the type of legacy.  Some ideas are:

·      A bench for neighbours to gather

·      Trees symbolizing growth and harmony

·      A plaque with a heartfelt message

·      Bulbs that bloom year after year

·      Recycling bins to be used at the Mendlesham Street Fayre

·      Or something else!

Secondly, we are inviting people to contribute financially. Some of our community organisations, individuals and the Mendlesham Community Charity, have already made donations towards this legacy.

By contributing to this endeavour, you and your family, or the community group to which you belong, will become an integral part of the history of our community. Your support will be a testament to the strength and generosity that binds us together.

Let's come together once more and create a lasting symbol of our community's spirit. Your involvement will ensure that you are forever woven into the fabric of our community’s history.
