Mental ill-health does not discriminate, it does not define a person and yet discrimination and unfair treatment of mental illness remains. More people than ever before are aware of the importance of their mental and physical health, but many are unaware of their rights to mental health equality.

CLASP Charity believes that when people with mental ill-health experience discrimination, this can create more distress, worsening a persons condition, potentially escalating to crisis situations and even result in fatal consequences.

Please donate and help us to reduce, the numbers of people suffering mental ill-health, due to discrimination inequalities. Your donation will support work being done by CLASP Charity with the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Health and Safety Executive plus many more.

We aim to increase the public's knowledge of their rights, when faced with a mental ill-health situation and prevent a crisis happening; share services offering support via the CLASP website and promote the numerous ways, everyone can improve their mental health wellbeing.

Together, we can make a difference and encourage, more people to not suffer from mental ill-health inequality by encouraging more organisations to follow their legal duty towards Employees, Customers and/or Service-users; thereby becoming fully compliant with relevant legislation such as the Health & Safety Act, Equality Act 2010 and others.
