Team Merck is joining the JBWS 5K for Hope again this year. We welcome you as a runner, a walker, or a supporter and thank you for your engagement. We have set a team goal of $5,000 (before matching gifts) and any size contribution can help us reach that goal. Every contribution directly benefits JBWS’s mission of the prevention of domestic violence through the protection and empowerment of the victim, the rehabilitation of family members, the advocacy for social reform to prevent partner violence, and the education of the public about domestic violence and its consequences.

The services JBWS provides change the lives of those it supports. Their services include 24-hour helpline; safe house; counseling for adults, adolescents and children impacted by abuse; transitional living, including life skills education and vocational counseling; legal advocacy; batterer’s intervention; teen dating violence prevention services; training for professionals; and community awareness and engagement programs.
