At Meridian Rotary, we are dedicated to making an impact on the lives of cancer patients in our area. Our mission is to raise £25,000 towards the cost of providing high-tech surgical equipment for Royal Surrey County Hospital, enabling advanced treatment options for those in need.

Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford is the 4th largest regional cancer centre in the UK and supports 3 million people in Sussex, Surrey and beyond. Thanks to a £41million investment agreed by the NHS a new Cancer and Surgical Innovation Centre is under construction that will build on the Royal Surrey’s world-class services in robotic and non-robotic surgeries enabling a further 7,000 operations annually.

This funding however only covers the building itself and the basic equipment. What is needed to achieve our goal is to help provide the high-tech equipment for these new theatres - such as a surgical robot and specialist operating tables.
