Merseyside Lowland Search and Rescue is a Full Member Team of Lowland Rescue, working in close partnership with Merseyside Police to provide specialised search teams and cutting-edge equipment to locate high-risk, vulnerable, and missing persons within Merseyside. Our team is proud to be part of a nationwide network of 36 Lowland Rescue teams, and we are always ready to assist other teams in counties across the UK when called upon. We are grateful to be based at the Emergency Services Training Centre in Twelve Quays, Birkenhead, thanks to their kind permission to host our operations there.

Our organisation is powered by a team of exceptional volunteers who bring a wealth of expertise and passion to the table. Hailing from diverse backgrounds and professions, our volunteers are highly trained, dedicated and committed to the cause. As a registered charity, we take great pride in the efforts of our operational and non-operational volunteers, who can often be seen fundraising at various events and locations throughout Merseyside. Their hard work and unwavering commitment to our mission continue to make a profound impact on the lives of those we serve.
