In Gaza the scale of need is overwhelming. People are dying of hunger and disease, as well as injuries caused by the conflict. Food and clean water are desperately scarce. Ninety percent of the population are displaced, and more than 42,000 people have been killed.

In Lebanon, more than a million people have been forced to leave to leave their homes. Airstrikes over the past year have killed more than 2,000 people and over 10,000 reported to have been injured.

Since October 2023, our teams have been on the ground in Gaza and working with local partners and UN agencies such as the World Food Programme.

Despite huge challenges, our teams are delivering aid each day to affected families. Since October 2023, we have provided over £28.5 million worth of aid and delivered over 42 million hot meals.

Islamic Relief Lebanon is currently supporting displaced families and local host communities in Nabatieh, Tyre, Bekaa and Baalbek, where most of the recently displaced people have been seeking refuge.
