Five of the regions biggest football clubs are swapping boots for PS4 controllers in a one-off charity FIFA 20 tournament raising vital funds for Acorns Children's Hospice.

This Monday at 6pm bragging rights are on the line as rival players go head-to-head in a live competition. The online tournament features stars including Jack Grealish (Aston Villa) Odin Bailey (Birmingham ) Zak Jules (Walsall) Callum Robinson (West Brom) and Benny Ashley-Seal (Wolves).

All of the money raised will help us provide vital care for hundreds of local children like Sophia pictured below.

Like Sophia's family, over 600 local families supported by Acorns are self-isolating. This is an uncertain time for everyone, but not least for the children and families who rely on their local children's hospice.

Caring for a life limited or life threatened child is difficult and even more so with the current threat of coronavirus. Acorns Children's Hospice is here to make sure no family faces this crisis alone.

Although many families cannot visit the hospice, Acorns is still providing vital care and support. From providing care packages of food and toiletries to vulnerable families who are unable to leave the house, to ensuring we are always on the end of the phone.

In spite of the current challenges we all face, Acorns is continuing to provide emergency and end of life hospice care for children, whilst adapting to support families at home.
