We provide free, unbiased education in several different ways so that all of our community has the chance to take part but here are some of the key things we want to continue to support:

• Free virtual study sessions and days that cover a range of relevant subjects and levels

• Free conference places and travel and accommodation bursaries for both our own conference and the meetings of other societies

• Projects that help raise awareness of issues like Legs Matter and Stop the Pressure

• Education for carers and care home workers through our Skin Care Champions programme

The NHS is in crisis and training and education can be almost impossible to access for some Health Care Professionals, we are determined to help in any way we can. So, this year we are raising money to help fund this vital education by doing a virtual walk from Milan (home of the EWMA Conference 2023) to London (home of EWMA/SoTV 2024). #MILAN2LONDON

It is approximately 810 miles from #MILAN2LONDON which is about 1,863,405 steps and our Trustees, supporters and friends will be taking on this challenge over the coming months with an end date of 20 April, 2024 just in time for the conference. Each person completing the challenge will be setting their own personal challenge to increase the number of steps they normally do. Steps can be recorded using any suitable device / smart phone / Fitbit etc and are submitted by email to support@societyoftissueviability.org and we are monitoring our progress and will publish our progress through our social media channels.
