Story
In June 2026, I’ll be taking on the gruelling Lake District Ultra Challenge, a nonstop 100km challenge through one of the UK’s toughest landscapes, for a chance to make a real difference to our community’s wellbeing!
I’m the Centre Manager at Beaulieu Community Centre, proudly run by the Chelmsford Garden Community Trust charity. We strive to provide a space at the heart of the community which is inclusive, supportive and accessible to all. With your help, we want to expand this even further to support those who need it most.
We’re rolling out a brand new pilot scheme, Nourish Foods, which every kilometer of this challenge will fuel. Nourish Foods will provide free, healthy meals to local families and individuals struggling to put nutritious food on the table. We’ll also run cooking classes for kids and teens, teaching them how to make balanced meals on a budget and helping them build lifelong healthy habits. The funds raised here will go directly to keeping our community well-fed, strong and healthy, because I believe that no one should have to choose between eating well and getting by.
Your donation will:
- Kick‑start and sustain the Nourish Foods scheme
- Keep free and affordable community events running
- Support families across our growing neighbourhood
Together, we can turn every kilometer into nourishment, and a brighter future for our neighbours. No donation amount is too small – every pound brings us closer to healthier meals and a stronger community. Support Miles for the Many, and help nourish our neighbours! 💚
