Miles for the Many – 100km for St Francis Pop Up
In June 2026, I’ll be taking on my toughest challenge yet: a 100km continuous walk in the Lake District Ultra Challenge — all to raise vital funds for St Francis Community Pop Up Food Store.
I’m the project manager of this incredible charity, which supports individuals and families across Chelmsford who are struggling with the rising cost of living. We provide affordable food in a way that is practical, respectful, and dignified — offering a helping hand with your weekly shop when it’s needed most.
As everyday costs continue to rise, more and more people are finding themselves under pressure. We support a wide cross section of our community: families, individuals of all ages, people in and out of work, those living with disabilities, and people experiencing social isolation. Demand for our service continues to grow, and so does the need for support.
Every donation made through this page will help keep this vital service running and allow us to grow, reach more people, and continue supporting those who need it most across Chelmsford.
I’ve completed Ultra Challenges before, but never on terrain this tough — and never in one continuous walk. This will be my biggest physical and mental challenge so far. I’d love to finish within 24 hours, but I’ll proudly take anything under 30! What will keep me going is knowing the difference this charity makes, and that every step brings us closer to helping more people.
Thank you so much for reading, donating, and supporting Miles for the Many. Every pound truly makes a difference.
